Job Title: Nurse Practitioner- Nephrology Cost Center: 451561422 Rice Lake-Nephrology Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Mon-Fri; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (United States of America) Job Description: Rice Lake, WI JOB SUMMARY The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician, according to Nurse Practitioner Protocol, and within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner License in the State of Wisconsin. Primarily responsible with assisting dialysis within the clinic, and assists all other nephology needs within the department. This position will primarily be located in Rice Lake, WI, but will have 20% outreach to Chippewa Falls, and Ladysmith clinic locations. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing. Preferred/Optional: None EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: None Preferred/Optional: One to three years’ nursing experience in specialty. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position. Minimum Required: Current State of Wisconsin Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner Licensure. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location). Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
