Lakeview is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecom Manager to join our dynamic team. The Telecom Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our telecommunications infrastructure and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of telecommunications technologies and industry trends. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, architectural and design experience, and the ability to effectively manage a team to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of our telecommunications systems.
The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $127,000 with an annual bonus; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, location and key skills.
Local Miami area candidates would be hybrid out of our Coral Gables office. Candidates anywhere else in the United States would be fully remote.

The successful candidate will have a track record of execution and operational success and will ensure that all technical, operational, and business objectives are achieved within:
- Overall voice and video Infrastructure across multiple locations
- Cloud-based transformations, including migration to UCaaS and CCaaS solutions.
- Telecommunication Management, including networks, connectivity, mobility, and call center (ACD, IVR)
- Evaluation and recommendation of third-party solutions and providers.
- Oversight of outsource teams and managed service providers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the organization's telecommunications infrastructure to support current and future business needs.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment, including phone systems, routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure the delivery of high-quality telecommunications services at competitive prices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to telecommunications usage, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in telecommunications technology and recommend upgrades or enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on telecommunications-related projects and initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of telecommunications professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities to foster growth and maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to integrate telecommunications systems with other business applications and processes.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on telecommunications performance, initiatives, and recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a telecommunications management role, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications systems, protocols, and standards, including VoIP, SIP, MPLS, and WAN technologies.
- Experience with telephony systems such as PBX, VoIP, and cloud-based solutions.
- Proficiency in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of successfully managing telecommunications projects from conception to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Long term management of Outsource and/or Managed Service groups.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or PMP are a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
