    Position Summary:
    The Identity and Access Management Specialist (IAMS) is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the organization’s users and data. The IAMS is responsible for managing user access to various systems and applications within the organization. The IAMS also ensures that user access is in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Plan, implement, and manage identity and access management solutions.
      • Manage user identity lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and account updates.
    • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
      Develop and maintain user access procedures and standards to ensure the organization's compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
      Manage user accounts and access permissions for Campus, SpED forms and google.
    • Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
    • Perform regular audits of user accounts and access permissions to ensure that they are in compliance with policies and standards.
    • Develop and maintain training materials related to identity and access management.
    • Understands, evaluates and analyzes existing manual and automated processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Collaborates with DSC-IT systems admins to engineer and continuously refine and test automated solutions to district staff onboarding, offboarding, and staff maintenance.
    • Superuser for information systems - acts as a resource for technical and non-technical staff in conveying the importance of data integrity and standardized processes.
    • Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical staff to clearly communicate systems and process improvements and achieve buy-in on the benefits of systemic and behavioral change.
    • Support escalated customer inquiries and support tickets.
    • Collaborate with Special Services Department to:
      • Maintain Early Childhood Special Education enrollments, rostering and attendance and membership in district SIS
      • Update special education student enrollments utilizing information in Data Input Forms
      • Monitor MARSS error reports for special education students and perform corrective action as needed
      • Perform SpEd Forms administrative duties of managing user accounts, assisting with technical issues and correcting duplicate student errors.
    • Other duties as assigned.



    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
    (Specific training or job experience required before appointment):
    • College degree or equivalent training and experience related to this position’s duties and responsibilities.
    • 2-3 years of experience in identity and access management or related fields.
    • Knowledge of security concepts and best practices, such as role-based access control, least privilege, and separation of duties.
    • Experience with Infinite Campus or other student information system(s) preferred.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and other IT teams.
    • Strong interpersonal skills across diverse populations.
