Maintenance Tech Position

Overview:
Are you seeking a full-time long- term job with good pay, year-round work, possible advancement, no layoffs, accrued vacation and paid holidays? We are looking for an honest hard working and dependable person to take care of our small residential community. You will be fairly compensated for your experience and by proof of performance. We do a review after a 90-day probation period and yearly in December. You may have an opportunity to earn your wastewater certification. Fully equipped shop, shower, office, company phone and laundry facilities. If you can work well independently and are willing to learn from our current maintenance supervisor, rotate on call and take pride in your work and our community then this could be the long-term job you have been looking for.

Duties: Grade roads, mow and clean ditches/waterways as needed, blade snow from roads and sand and salt as needed. Lay down roc and road millings, use cold patch and misc. concrete and culvert repairs. Mowing, dirt excavating, trimming, cutting and hauling brush and trees as needed. Maintain the office, park and playground, pool, bath, and shelterhouse. Check sewer plant operations and learn to test water and take samples as needed. Change out, repair and rebuild sewer grinder pumps, operate and maintain our heavy equipment, know how to properly use and take care of tools, have a valid driver's license. Misc. odd jobs such as minor plumbing, painting, filter changes and help at the office and pool bathhouse as needed.
