Materials Planner 5

We are seeking a skilled Planner to help build a new process and develop forecasting models to support a growing business area. The applicant selected for this role will work cross functionally with Sales, Engineering, Program Managers, Supply Chain, and other key stake holders. • Works cross functionally with key stake holders to assemble and analyze data needed to develop custom/ generic planned independent requests and long-term forecast.
• Leverage knowledge and expertise in planning and supply chain to drive business process improvements
• Evolving and maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems
• Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand to minimize exposure to excess and obsolete material
• Prepare, reports, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets)

• Bachelor s Degree in Business or related disciplines
• 3 - 5 years’ related experience, preferably working in planning and developing forecasting models.
• Detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills, problem solving and leadership skills
• Self-Starter
• Excellent written/oral communication skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization
• SAP Experience / ERP Systems
• Experience working in a dynamic, and fast paced business environment
• Ability to demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills
