What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Project Manager - Supply Chain Transformation position at Lam Research?
The Senior Project Manager is a part of the Global Operations Supply Operations Team; as a lead Project Manager, you are responsible for influencing supply chain operations and planning with the goal of improving Lam's responsiveness to customer demands.
- This person will influence a critical, high visibility team that drives alignment between the product groups, and global operations using infrastructure tools to support both short-and long-term planning processes.
- Responsible for architecting and driving change/alignment within the Lam data analysis systems.
This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain Operations, aligns stakeholders from cross functional teams in Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Manufacturing and Order Fulfilment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
- Fifteen (15)years of experience managing similar related programs, i.e.: manufacturing, order fulfillment, Sales & Operations, or Supply Chain.
- 12 years of related experience in project management or program management.
- Semiconductor equipment knowledge and continuous learning to effectively consider how technical roadmaps of the business units (product lifecycle) and economic trends can affect our supply/demand streams.
- Experience with Supply Chain procurement and capacity assessment processes.
- Expert knowledge of program management and leading cross functional global teams.
- Ability to identify risk and create strategies for contingency plans and mitigation across supply chain and global operations on constraints to execute our build plan.
- Executive messaging and drive decision making in a matrixed environment.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
