Wealth Management Customer Service Representative

Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000

Wealth Management Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
The Wealth Management Customer Service Representative is responsible for client services and financial advisor support at LaMar Wealth Management in Auburn, AL.

Primary Functions

1. Administration

  • Answer and direct calls.
  • Process and manage mail.
  • Appointment scheduling and tracking.
  • Prepare, scan and process client documents.
  • Manage client communications [social media, mass e-mail, correspondence & reports].
  • Client event planning
  • Ordering of office supplies

2. Client Service

  • Greet clients.
  • Account opening and required paperwork processing.
  • Process client deposits
  • Assisting clients with everyday requests, needs, questions and transactions.
  • Client account maintenance/ maintain accurate client contact information

3. Compliance

  • Adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in compliance / regulator audits and examinations.
  • Maintain utmost client confidentiality

Secondary Functions

1. Cross train on other Wealth Management functions to ensure department stability as needed.

2. Participate in all required meetings and any educational training required

Wealth Management Customer Service Representative Required / Preferred Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal/written skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Must be able to work in a Team Environment.
  • Must be able to multi-task.

Preferred :

  • Post High School Education or 1 year of related experience.
  • Prior work experience in a brokerage firm.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time in office position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Travel
Minimal travel is expected but some may be required for training and development purposes.
