Effingham Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced OR Circulator Nurse to join our team for a 13-week contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic surgical environment while gaining valuable experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care during procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring sterility and safety.
- Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and draping.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide necessary supplies and equipment.
- Monitor patient's condition and vital signs throughout the procedure.
- Administer medications and blood products as directed.
- Participate in the documentation of patient care.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia RN license.
- Minimum of one year of experience in general surgery, robotic, and orthopedic cases.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of perioperative nursing practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- BLS certification required.
Schedule:
- Day shift (7a-3p), with potential for schedule fluctuations based on caseload.
