This position is responsible for manifesting all bulk and cased product coming into and coming out of the warehouse. They must keep accurate records which are to be balanced hourly and at the end of the shift. In order to perform the manifestor duties, the manifestor must keep in constant contact with the Q.A. Lab, the Inventory Controller and the Supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The Manifestor reports to the Warehouse-Scheduling Supervisor and the Packaging Supervisor.
This position must manifest all build and cased product into the warehouse and remove from manifest all build and cased product for production coming out of the Warehouse.
The Manifestor must assure that the catalog number, production code, and number of cases on a pallet are accurately recorded on the manifest ticket; also , get the correct lot number, quality code, new weight, production code, and product location on bulk product going into the Warehouse.
Responsible for checking every tote leaving the bulk area to see that it is manifested. Also responsible for setting aside product tagged by Quality Assurance.
The incumbent in this position will also train manifest personnel, perform manifest duties, and relieve co-workers for breaks when requested.
SAFETY: Must have a complete knowledge and understanding of the plant safety rules including but not limited to the lockout-tagout procedure, chemical hazards and the hearing conservation program. Must have good personal hygiene and be able to practice safe work habits.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience. on the job training consisting of one to 45 shifts.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate in English commensurate with the requirements of this position.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Must be able to successfully complete the Manifest Math Equivalency Review.
Familiar with electronic calculators.
Must be proficient with a Data Entry Terminal.
