Job Summary
TiiCKER is seeking a mid-level graphic design professional with experience in ad development (digital display banners, search ads, social ads) and ad copy development. The Digital Media Designer will report to the Director of Digital Media to support TiiCKER-branded & partner-branded digital campaigns, with a strong focus on ad conceptualization, design, production, trafficking, testing and reporting.
This role is responsible for managing and executing integrated creative development plans for TiiCKER under the scope of the established Brand Standards Guide. The Digital Media Designer will play a key role in developing creative concepts and digital assets to support user acquisition and retention. Additional responsibilities include content creation, creative asset management, presentation refinement and preparing reports related to creative performance for client reporting calls, meetings and conferences.
This role is based in Detroit OR Grand Rapids, Michigan with the opportunity to work remote.
Job Details:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce compelling digital solutions that support design on all owned and earned channels (e-mail CRM, digital marketing, social media, website assets).
- Email newsletters, Display Banners, Static Social, Motion Graphics (HTML5 or GIF), Video, and ad copy.
- Animation in After Effects or Photoshop for our social channels.
- Editing video and content for our social channels.
- Ensure on time and accurate deliverables for digital platforms.
- Assist in pitches, and presentation development / design.
- Take ownership of projects from concept through production.
- Creatively mentor internal team, providing support and guidance.
- Demonstrate flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Be an inspiring, energy giving member of the team — work collaboratively.
- Consistent market and creative research to bring creative innovation to the table.
- Ensure high standards and quality assurance across all work produced so that it is cohesive, consistent, and on brand.
- Assist the Digital Director on monthly design toolkit — encompassing typographic exploration, design research, digital mocks, etc.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- 4 years of graphic design experience, preferably in-house for a brand or an agency.
- Experience in digital marketing a must.
- Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Bridge, Illustrator, and video editing software like Adobe Premiere.
- Strong knowledge of video, animated gifs, HTML5, digital photography, and image manipulation.
- Has experience working with marketing teams and an understanding of CRM best practices.
- Process-driven individual who is able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Someone who is ready to roll up their sleeve and support the team with a "one team" mentality.
- Technical skills (comping and presentation prep).
- Strong skills in typography, layout, hierarchy, and branding.
- Detail oriented and organized.
