Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. You will assist in managing daily operations, supervising employees, building a safety program, managing equipment cleaning, helping dispatch, and anything else that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the business
- Managing equipment condition
- Building and managing a safety program for employees
- Assisting with dispatch
- Help with hiring, training, and supervising staff members
- Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
- Collaborate with the General Manager to create schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the trucking industry
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other office programs
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
