What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving Worker position at LanceSoft Inc?
Job Description:
- Pack both hazardous and non-hazardous materials for domestic and international shipments.
- Understand regulations for shipping hazardous material by ground, sea, and air.
- Count and shelve incoming stock.
- Perform Cycle Counts
- Assist internal customers
- Notify Supervisor when packing supplies are low.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Advise others who are unfamiliar with regulations, the most appropriate way to package materials.
- Post or pull orders as requested.
- Assist with literature fulfillment.
- Must complete own section of performance appraisal.
- Participate and support continuous improvement initiatives
