Our company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic, growing team at Landings of Hickory and Villas at Twin Cedars!
In addition to your hourly wage, you will share in a monthly bonus program.
The Maintenance Supervisor will manage and participate in the day-to-day maintenance of our combined 148 unit multi-family apartment communities.
Primary duties include completing service/work orders, HVAC troubleshooting/repair, appliance troubleshooting/repair, preventative maintenance, and managing the maintenance staff and the maintenance function. Additional responsibilities include apartment turns and pool/grounds maintenance. Candidate must possess a working knowledge of HVAC, appliances, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall repair.
The chosen candidate must have the ability to be on-call and must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Required Qualifications:
- HVAC/EPA Certification
- 3 years experience in apartment maintenance
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Driver's License
- High School or equivalent
- Must have your own tools
- Must have reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
- May be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying (light to heavyweight material/appliances/ equipment), climbing ladders/stairs, and walking on rooftops
- Must have normal range of hearing, vision, color discrimination, and depth perception for proper operation of machines and equipment
- Requires the use of appropriate safety equipment (e.g., back belts, goggles, masks, gloves, etc.)
- This position requires occasional lifting of 50-100 lbs. and frequent lifting of 10-50 lbs.
- The duties of this position will require working in an outdoor environment exposed to adverse weather conditions as well as dirt and/or dust
