Job Description:
As an Automotive Rental Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our rental operations. You will be expected to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, manage a fleet of vehicles efficiently, and lead a team of dedicated rental associates. This role is crucial to the success of our business, as it involves strategic planning, team leadership, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Management: Ensure that the rental fleet is well-maintained, clean, and ready for customer use. This includes coordinating maintenance schedules, tracking vehicle availability, and making data-driven decisions on fleet expansion or reduction.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of rental associates, setting performance goals, and providing training and support as needed. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and customer-centric service.
Customer Service: Maintain a high standard of customer service, including handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that our clients have an exceptional experience throughout their rental journey.
Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive business growth. Identify opportunities to expand the customer base and implement effective marketing strategies.
Financial Management: Develop and manage the budget for the rental department, monitor expenses, and optimize revenue streams.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in the automotive rental industry.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field (preferred).
· Proven experience in automotive rental management or a related field.
· Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
· Excellent customer service skills and a customer-centric mindset.
· Proficient in computer software, including rental management systems.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of local automotive rental regulations and laws.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
