The Marketing/Graphic Design Specialist collaborates with the Sales and Marketing Director to recommend, execute, and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and strategies as they relate to company goals. This position also provides insights into current marketing and advertising strategies and identifies opportunities for improvement to ensure maximum efficiency with marketing spend.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute strategic marketing campaigns and plans.
  • Maintain monthly marketing calendar.
  • Strong understanding and effective utilization of social media, internet marketing, and digital media to support sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide support to the sales team by creating, coordinating, and ordering marketing collateral materials as requested including flyers and distribution for Sales Counselors and Sales Centers. May require researching new vendors, obtaining quotes and samples.
  • Create and maintain included feature sheets, site maps, renderings, and floorplans as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between purchasing, accounting, and sales departments in receiving any plan/elevation changes to floorplans. Assure that changes are communicated to construction and sales as needed. Verify that the floorplan changes to blueprints are reflected in all collateral materials as well as online.
  • Update and maintain vendor database, organize community marketing files, and maintain collateral materials.
  • Work with sign vendors as needed to obtain proposals for all community signage. This includes the coordination of sign production and installation.
  • Maintain and update website content to include accurate pricing, floorplans, site maps, and Quick Move-In images requiring photography coordination.
  • Partner with our vendors to coordinate the production of digital assets including photography, videography, virtual/Matterport tours, and more.
  • Fact-check and proofread all marketing materials.
  • Ensure brand standards are maintained for all projects.
  • Market research to identify target consumer groups and formulate appropriate targeting strategies.
  • Coordinate Emails/E-blasts and work with the Sales and Marketing Director to track the success of programs.
  • Plan and monitor the yearly marketing budget with guidance from the Sales and Marketing Director.
  • Prepare monthly budget reports and present them to the management team.
  • Pre-opening planning and activity management for lead generation and marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with the production, planning, and staffing of special projects and events including community openings, community events, and realtor events as needed (may include occasional weekends).
  • Daily administrative activities including invoice reconciliation and upkeep of marketing materials inventory.
  • Visit communities regularly to ensure all aspects of marketing initiatives are executed correctly.
  • Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing or Graphic Design preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in residential sales and marketing environment.
  • Minimum of one year in the home building industry is preferred.
  • Skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator required.
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding and proficiency in social media, internet marketing, and digital media.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or equivalent analytics suite.
  • Knowledge of MLS and realtor sites such as Zillow and Realtor.com is a plus.
  • Strong graphic design skills coupled with experience in coordinating media buys with newspapers, billboards, and direct mail.
  • Strong ability to effectively negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and event planners.
  • Must be enthusiastic, flexible, and confident working with the sales team and all levels of management.
  • Strong professional and ethical conduct to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profitability of the company.
  • Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel throughout the greater Nashville area.
Compensation
$50,000 yearly
