The Hyatt Place Hampton is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This position requires general maintenance skills including , plumbing, HVAC, PTAC, electrical, and pool maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the maintenance manager as needed
- Complete daily facilities check list, repair and note any safety concerns
- Complete work orders
- Complete all assigned daily projects
- Pool Maintenance
- Answer all room calls with in set time limits
- Assist other engineering personal with assigned projects
- General PTAC, HVAC repair
- General Plumbing repair to include all guest room plumbing, toilet, sink and shower/Tub repair, Restaurant and back of house
- Grounds Maintenance
- General Electrical Repair
- General painting, sheet rock repair, and tile repair
- General preventive maintenance work assigned by supervisor
- On call when required by the management
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to work nights and days, holidays, weekends,during hotel emergencies and bad weather
