Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritious meals and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our residents/patients.
1. Adhere to directives of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services, Administrator, or Director of Nurses.
2. Must keep the Food and Nutrition area clean and in a sanitary condition.
3. Wash and clean dirty dishes, trays, utensils, and equipment within the food and nutrition department.
4. Prepare meals according to approved menus and recipes.
5. Organize tray assembly and meal service.
6. Report any equipment problems to the Director of Food and Nutrition Services.
7. Maintains food and supplies and reports supply inventory to the Director of Food and Nutrition Services.
8. Maintains department equipment to ensure proper cleanliness and function.
9. Checks and maintains food temperatures, dish washer and refrigerator temps as per policy.
10. Stores food appropriately and discards items as necessary.
11. Maintains resident confidentiality.
12. Prepares foods consistent to resident specific diets and restrictions.
13. Performs other duties deemed necessary by the Director of Food and Nutrition Services or the facility Administrator.
14. Attends and participates in facility meetings.
15. Participates in Quality Assessment and Improvement Program
16. Participates in Quality Assessment Performance Improvement Program
17. Reports immediately to supervisor and administrator situations involving abuse, neglect, or suspicion of a crime.
18. Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Compliance Program, HIPAA Standard, and Computer Usage Agreement.
