We are seeking an Admission Consultant for our office in Franklin, TN.

Summary

Our successful Admissions Consultant candidates will be organized, efficient, proactive and responsive self-starters. They’ll be authentic and passionate, pay attention to details, and demonstrate strong nursing skills while meeting patients where they are, conveying that “we care about YOU.” They’ll have a high EQ, be people savvy and be carefully attuned to nuance and behavioral subtleties. They’ll enjoy working independently and also collaboratively, as part of a team.

The most successful candidates will have some capacity with being entrepreneurial and nimble, as we are always developing new approaches throughout the business. They’ll flow well with what others call stress and be comfortable with addressing differences and conflict while simultaneously also humble and eager to receive and integrate feedback. They’ll demonstrate healthy and motivating ways of giving feedback as well. They’ll bring great care, integrity, and customer service to all they do.

Responsibilities

The Admissions Consultant processes all leads for admission, serves as a Brand Ambassador in explaining our program and benefits, and works aggressively to close leads, increase census, and admit patients for treatment.

• Qualifies leads by gathering clinical and insurance data to ensure appropriateness

• Serves as brand ambassador to potential patients by promoting program, highlighting key features, and conducting tours of the facility, as appropriate

• Verifies insurance benefits and completes net pricing information to present to patients

• Works aggressively to close leads in a timely fashion to improve census

• Ensures out of pocket expenses are collected at time of admission or that acceptable promissory notes have been signed

• Completes initial paperwork with admissions

• Communicates all admission information to appropriate staff

• Works with Administrator and, as appropriate, Director of Business Development to generate quarterly Strategic Marketing Plan for the facility

• Tracks all leads and pre-admission information in CRM tool

• Compiles marketing and admissions data in accordance with facility reporting guidelines

• Serves as “Admissions On Call” as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Healthcare Role

• Minimum 2 years experience in an outside sales or outside marketing role

• Excellent closing skills

• Strong work ethic

• Highly motivated and willing to work for commission

• Must be committed to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use

• Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred

Compensation: $40K - $55K/year bonus
