We are seeking an OBOT NP for our Franklin, TN facility.
Summary
The OBOT NP works with individuals with substance use disorders and other co-occurring disorders (mental, emotional, or behavioral) using psychotherapeutic methods to assess, establish diagnosis, develop their treatment plans, provide individual, family, and group therapy to patients consistent with their treatment plans, and prepare patients for discharge.
Responsibilities
- Develops Master Treatment Plans for all assigned patients
- Reviews and edits Master Treatment Plans at least weekly, and more often as clinically necessary
- Attends Treatment Team meetings
- Using clinical judgment, follows DBT modality and carries out the modality during individual and group therapy sessions
- Leads group therapy sessions as required
- Leads lectures and therapy sessions for patient family members as assigned
- Leads DBT skills group sessions as required
- Stays abreast of local options for case management referrals and discharge options and coordinates discharge process for patient, ensuring adequate follow up care
- Follows all facility policies and procedures, including those related to licensure, continuing education, patient confidentiality, and documentation standards
- Must be available outside of standard business hours for crisis/coaching calls on a rotational basis
- Additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Independently licensed and able to obtain and maintain provider credentialing
- Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or equivalent field from an accredited institution of higher learning
- 5 years’ experience in a clinical role within Chemical Dependency field (preferred)
- 1-3 years DBT experience (preferred)
- Must be committed to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use
- Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues (strongly preferred)
Schedule:
- Tuesday-Friday, 9:00AM-3:00PM or 10:00AM-4:00PM
Compensation:
- $60-65K Benefits (Vision, Medical, Dental, Life, 401K, Paid Time Off, Family Leave).
Additional Compensation:
- Student loan repayment after 6 months of employment.(With a one year contract of employment)
- Yearly Contribution Max: $5,000.00.
- Contributions are tax free.
- All contributions are sent directly to the servicer of the loan.
- Annual increase structure at 1 year and 2 year.
