OVERVIEW: The successful Senior Accountant be highly organized, detail-focused, timely,
energetic, process-oriented and people-savvy. They be both big-picture and detail-oriented,

be able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities. The most successful Senior Accountant will

The successful Senior Accountant will have some capacity with being entrepreneurial and
nimble while also following required, clearly defined procedures. They must display excitement
in the everyday aspects of the position and produce accordingly, yet there will be opportunities to
grow up the accounting ladder to manage people and have more responsibility as the Company
continues to grow over the next few years.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role works independently with minimal supervision to ensure the integrity of our accounting
information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions:
• Design, continuously improve and implement systems and processes for managing our
people throughout our organization
• Identify and proactively provide solutions for automation and process improvement while
ensuring daily responsibilities are completed with detail, accuracy, completeness and
timeliness
• Perform and be responsible for month end close process, including preparation of journal
entries, ledger reconciliations and account analysis in a timely manner
• Do key reconciliations including revenue, accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue and expense journal entries by compiling and
analyzing account information

• Responsible for cash management, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets,
accruals and reconciliations
• Post revenue activity from our EMR and Billing systems (includes gross revenue billed,
contractual adjustments, bad debt expense) on a monthly basis
• Establish appropriate procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of
transactions, and reporting
• Prepare clear, organized account analysis of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting and
reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
• Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance and
reconciling entries
• Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit
and loss and other statements
• Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
• Lead and mentor staff accountants on daily activities
• Collaborate with others in accounting and other departments
• Work cooperatively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies
• Do additional duties as assigned
• Report directly to the CFO

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• CPA (preferred)
COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Microsoft Office 365 Suite
• Extensive experience Yardi Voyager and other accounting and database software
packages
