A local company in Pensacola is looking for a Case Manager to assist eligible clients with training in Phlebotomy and Medical Assistance; determining client eligibility, coordinating with employers, job placement, employment mentoring, and progress monitoring; comprehensive assessments; housing, mental wellness, substance use disorder and domestic violence, when needed; work-based learning opportunities; work readiness activities; job matching and referrals; and transitional support such as childcare, transportation, employment, employment-related supplies.

- Collects and reviews intake and eligibility paperwork from Clients. Prepares required forms for applicants and answers questions and concerns. Collects necessary information, applications, forms, and documentation materials.
- Assists clients with career planning and career decision-making process. Assesses client's employment and training needs.
- Assists client's in identifying and addressing barriers to employment and refers customers to intensive and training services within the one-stop system as appropriate, or to community resources as necessary. Determines customer eligibility for program services based upon assessed needs and program eligibility requirements.
- Receives and reviews application materials, test results, and other source documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Processes all forms and documents and inputs data into computer system(s).
- Works with confidential material. Ensures that confidential information is protected/secured.
- Enter case notes to document all client contact and progress/problems that the client may encounter.
- Identify support service needs of participants and coordinate referrals to other agencies or to the support service specialists.
- Bachelor's degree in career counseling, educational/guidance counseling, Human Services, or related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years' experience in case management or related experience is required.
- Valid Florida Driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
- Ability to understand and interpret complex federal and state program eligibility requirements and apply necessary procedures and processes.
- Keyboarding/typing skills of 30 words per minute are required. Proficiency in a variety of PC applications is required including Microsoft Office Suite. Experience/familiarity with the Employ Florida system is a plus.
- Ability to provide outstanding, positive customer service is essential.
- Organizational skills, time management skills and excellent oral and written communications skills are required.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to fellow team members is essential. Proficiency in a variety of PC applications is required including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program.
- For this position, you will be paid $17.40/hour
- Schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
