Internal Recruiter
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to immerse themselves in our organization – to act as the ultimate brand ambassador and champion of Landscape America’s corporate culture. We are looking for an eager self-starter to help build this exciting new position from the ground up, to work directly with company leadership, to connect with all levels of the organization, to be a champion of our intrinsic values and become a valued, long-term member of our team.
The main responsibilities of this position will be to manage recruitment, hiring and employee retention efforts, onboard new employees, provide ongoing employee training, and ultimately continue to makeLandscape America a passion based, customer-centric, fun, and rewarding work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Employee Retention:
- Pipeline building in Aspire (CRM)
- Mining social media/Linked In for job postings and potential recruits
- Supporting content development with our marketing partners
- Managing website updates with our marketing partners
- Building bench strength, understanding the organizational needs. and supporting team members in their growth and development at Landscape America
Hiring:
- Managing the interview process for all job positions
- Onboarding new employees initial training, intro to company culture, core values
- Creating and managing pre-scheduled check ins (Day 1, Week 1, Month 1, 90 days)
- Regularly attend production and sales meetings to understand current and future staffing needs
Training:
- Facilitate training on systems and protocols
- Work with production on regular training days
- Document training events
- Suggest opportunities for improvement and change over time
Company Culture:
- Work with and generate new ideas for team gatherings with our current Culture committee
- Focus on promoting from within to encourage team members climb the company ladder and aid in retention efforts
- Support business strategy and marketing efforts to help make Landscape America a magnet to recruits and other landscapers
- Live and breathe Landscape America’s Core Values, assuring they are carried through all initiatives
- Understand and Support Open Book Management and Employee Engagement
Human Resources:
- Support our Office Manager on compliance, disciplinary actions, and documentation
Ideal Candidate:
- Is eager and excited to help Landscape America create this new position
- Wants to dig deep, think outside of the box, build and grow with Landscape America
- Has or is willing to have a thorough understanding our benefits package
- Is bilingual in Spanish (not required at start). Spanish classes may be required
This position is Full Time, 40 hours per week. We are looking for someone to start immediately. This position is not commission based.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
