Landscape Design Office – Administrative Assistant - Part Time

Renowned Garden Design firm located on the Westside has an opening for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in the office 3-5 days/week.

Experience in a landscape, architectural or interior design office preferred.

This is a great opportunity to work with an established landscape design company who collaborates with many local and international architectural firms.

Projects are primarily high-end residential with special commercial projects on the boards as well. Our projects span from the Hollywood Hills and Beverly Hills up to Santa Barbara and Montecito.

Our recently completed public projects include Pacific Palisades Village and the San Vincente Bungalows in West Hollywood.

Our works have also been featured in Luxe Magazine, Elle Decor, California Home Design, the New York Times and the Garden Conservancy’s Outstanding American Gardens book.

Some of the key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Acting as support to lead designer and project manager
  • Assisting in project coordination duties:
  • Filing and project organization as necessary
  • Assist in meeting preparation
  • Research materials and order samples
  • Order tracking
  • Assist in managing day to day office operations to facilitate the efficient operations of the organization
  • Adobe Suite experience a plus
  • Other office related tasks as needed
  • Respond to inquiries

We are looking for someone approx. 20-25 hours a week.

Pay will be commensurate with experience.

REQUIRED QUALITIES:

  • Experience in an architectural, interior or landscape design office.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Able to communicate clearly with team and clients as needed.
  • Comfortable on both PC and MACs - You will primarily work on a MAC.
  • Microsoft Office - Word and Excel.
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Organized and able to work independently.

DESIRED QUALITIES:

  • Adobe Suite experience a plus.
  • Design knowledge and sensibility.
  • Interest in garden design, architecture, landscape design, horticulture.
  • Positive attitude.

VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE:

  • This is NOT a remote position. In-Office only.
