Toddler Teacher
We are looking to employ a qualified Toddler Teacher, who has a passion for instilling values in young children. The Toddler Teacher should possess high energy and the ability to handle the demands of toddlers with different personalities and needs.
To ensure success, the Toddler teacher should display a gentle and nurturing personality, and the patience to assist each toddler to mature cognitively and socially.
Toddler Teacher Responsibilities:
- Guiding toddlers through the daily schedule, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Thinking on their feet and responding to each child’s needs efficiently.
- Displaying a patient and calm personality coupled with a loving approach to every child.
- Contributing positively to the behavior and social interaction of the children.
- Building secure relationships with the children.
- Changing classroom materials on a monthly basis to ensure children’s interest in work is maintained.
- Working closely with the director to ensure that guidelines are adhered to, classroom materials are maintained, and records are accurate and up to date.
- Ensuring close communication with parents should the need arise.
Toddler Teacher Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (recommended).
- Complete background check and health examination.
- Previous experience in a preschool, specifically as a lead teacher.
- A passion for working with toddlers.
- Patient, nurturing and thoughtful.
- Excellent communication skills.
