Summary
The Inventory Control Associate contributes to meeting Langham goals of exceptional customer service, quality, process improvement, and profitability by ensuring accurate inventory counts using the Langham WMS and Firestone SAP count programs, identifying and tracking errors relating to movement of inventory in the facility, conducting physical cycle counts of stored goods, and moving material out of the system to the Distribution Center.
Additionally, the Inventory Control Associate can ensure that incoming raw material for Firestone production a) is received in quantities expected by the customer per vendor manifests, b) has been produced according to quality standards and engineering specifications, and c) is correctly placed in the appropriate racks for future retrieval.

Key outcomes expected All Warehouse Associates, regardless of assigned area or duties, are expected to:
Operate all equipment, machinery, forklifts, etc., in an efficient, safe, and productive manner;
Work according to customer orders and specifications;

Provide daily and basic maintenance on machines as assigned;
Keep work areas neat and clean.
Use the Langham WMS and Firestone SAP count programs to manage total inventory for the organization, ensure accurate inventory counts, and take steps to correct inventory errors. Conduct physical cycle counts.
May receive inbound raw materials for Firestone production inventory and inspect individual parts to ensure accordance with drawings, specifications, and client requirements (e.g. for every order, a certain quantity of items will be inspected). Interact with customer engineers when problems occur, return defective material as requested. Use gages and calipers in inspection process. Investigate shipments that were not received according to customers' manifests and report back to customer.
Put inventory away in racks according to correct bin numbers for future retrieval.
When customers (including customers of customers) need a raw part, move parts from production to the Distribution Center.
Assist Warehouse and Distribution Center personnel in resolving issues and complaints, such as SAP system issues, re-programming RF guns.

Experience, education, degrees, licenses High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years in comparable position relating to inventory control.
Previous SAP (software) preferred.
Must be able to pass forklift certification training.
Physical demands Must be able to operate a variety of equipment: stand up forklift, sit down forklift, and order picker.
Physical movements including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 75 pounds as part of daily work routine. Dexterity needed for working with calibration equipment.
Will be working on concrete in a warehouse environment (subject to heat and cold).
Must be able to operate computer equipment.
Work environment Work is performed in a warehouse environment subject to temperature variances.
