What are the responsibilities and job description for the Language teacher - Korean position at Language Trainers?
Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. Founded in 2004, the company’s motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere!
We have a client in Osnabrück who would like to take individual lessons in general Korean (speaking and understanding) and you may be interested in the teaching assignment.
Here are some details about the course:
- It is a total of 50 lessons in Korean (one lesson=45 minutes), divided into 25x90-minute sessions.
- The lessons will take place at the customer's home, in 49088 Osnabrück.
- The language level is: beginner. Has been learning on the platform "Talk to me in Korean" for 3 months.
- The lessons should take place twice a week, always on Friday from 15:00 or 16:00 (a double lesson). And Saturday from 9:00 or 10:00 a double lesson. Sunday would be available as an alternative day if necessary.
- Motivation and age: From August 2024, Annika (15) will take part in an exchange program in South Korea. An introduction video in Korean is to be created for the host family by the end of 2023.
- Start: As soon as possible. For example: 24.11.2023.

Ideal teacher should:
- Be a native speaker of the language OR hold a teaching degree
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Have a valid working visa
- Live up to 20 miles from the client´s location.
Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
