What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Coordinator/ Rehab position at LANIER?
- Responsible of ordering supplies
- Reconciliates charges daily.
- Monitors resource utilization.
- Demonstrate proficiency in product evaluation, computer skills and organizational skills for rehabilitation supply items.
- Demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement and problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.
- Maintains atmosphere, which ensures South Georgia Medical Center’s mission, vision, values, code of conduct, goals, policies and standards are consistently supported and enforced.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- High School Graduate, some college preferred.
- Previous computer experience preferred
- One to two years related experience in materials management preferred.
- Ability to use Global computer system, Medilinks and UDS systems with strong computer skills
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to physicians, Rehab patients, families and staff.
- Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Flexible in work schedule, assignments and work load.
- Ability to work well individually and as a team member.
- Demonstrates ability to adapt to new situations, manage priorities and utilize problem-solving techniques.
- Demonstrates skill in verbal, non-verbal and behavioral communication.
- Ability to understand and follow the policies and procedures of South Georgia Medical Center and regulatory agencies’ standards and rules.
- CPR Certification required.
