Job Summary
We are looking for a fleet technician experienced with Caterpillar & Komatsu loaders, quarry trucks, and other large mining-centric diesel equipment such as skid loaders, backhoes, dozers and excavators. Responsibilities will be to service, regularly inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment.
Our ideal candidate will have several years' experience maintaining the above equipment, and who is looking for an opportunity to step into a diagnostic / training / leadership role supporting a team of mechanics across several sites.

Physical and Mental Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to frequently sit, crawl, climb, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift (100 lbs.). Employee must be able to hear equipment running to analyze failures. Sight is mandatory to ensure safety while performing essential tasks on mobile equipment.
Employee must be able to understand issues, problems, and opportunities and make timely and sound decisions. Employee must take responsibility for decisions and understand the impact and implications of decisions and provide feedback as necessary. Employee must be able to communicate with other employees to ensure proper training and relaying repair and maintenance information. Must be able to lead a small team of mobile equipment operators for repairs and maintenance and have a vast working knowledge of all Lannon Stone mobile equipment. Employee must be able to demonstrate personal management to prioritize workload, review equipment as needed, and manage time spent on tasks. Employee must develop a working relationship with vendors to ensure timely and cost efficient purchases. Employee must have training skills to properly train new mobile equipment operators on quarry trucks. Employee must demonstrate attention to detail, managing interruptions, meeting deadlines, and plan through work tasks.

Working Environment
Up to 100% of time spent in manufacturing environments around industrial equipment. Up to 25% of time spent driving a vehicle. Environment will have extreme temperatures, strong odors, fuels, dust, grease, and other manufacturing features.
