Solutions Analyst

Lanter Delivery Systems is currently seeking a Solutions Analyst. This position will be evaluating and designing truck transportation routes to maximize delivery efficiency for our customers. This position will report to our VP of Solutions and Design.

Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze delivery methods and delivery schedules to minimize costs and maximize customer satisfaction. 
• Manage large projects such as regional re-routing or complex bid preparation
• Rely on significant experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Use transportation routing software to: 
  1. Maintain existing data and routing
  2. Perform routing analysis as requested
  3. Perform route efficiency and cost savings analysis
  4. Price delivery portion of new business proposals
• Analyze all carrier costs including route, overhead, and specials while working to reduce costs
• Facilitate interdepartmental processes
• Integrate multiple data applications

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Business, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
• Five (5) years’ work experience in finance, transportation operations, or traffic functions
• Experience routing truck traffic using software
• Experience with critical path methodology
• Thorough understanding of computer file structures
• Understanding of basic accounting and profit/loss
• Highly knowledgeable in other Microsoft products
• Experience with Appian routing software a plus
