Senior Business Analyst, Master Data Management

Summary of Role:

The Sr Business Analyst (BA), Master Data Management (MDM) acts as an intermediary between the business and technical community. The Sr BA will work with IT project teams and business clients within all areas of the master data community to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with business partners. This role will also provide support for sales analytics and order management systems.

Essential Functions:

• Lead in the maintenance and administration of MDM systems in partnership with internal resources.
• Support large scale end-to-end MDM project implementation.
• Perform data quality functions - data quality audit/assessment, entity resolution (matching), data profiling, data scorecard development, exception management configuration in MDM.
• Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect, and deliver.
• Hands-on development in the implementation of Informatica MDM on the Azure platform.
• Work directly and collaboratively with Solution Architect, Informatica Admin, and MDM developer.
• Client facing with Technical and Business stakeholders.
• Interact with cross functional teams to ensure business processes and rules are documented to identify areas of improvement.
• Learn business processes and relevant software technologies participating in implementation of new systems and solutions following the Lantheus validation process and procedures.
• Research and recommend new technology solutions aligned with IT and Business needs.
• Support commercial information systems team in performing system testing, system implementations, business process improvements, system upgrades, system optimizations, production activities and end user engagement improvement initiatives.
• Gather and analyze customer requirements. Draft clear and concise functional design documentation and testing plans and scripts
• Ensure functional work activities are conducted in compliance with technology and GMP requirements, related policies and procedures, and corporate objectives.
• Actively promotes safety rules and awareness. Demonstrates good safety practices at all times including the appropriate use of protective equipment. Reports and takes initiative to correct safety & environmental hazards.

Typical Minimum Skills and Experience and Education:

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with up to 5 years progressive experience in analytical roles of increasing responsibility, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication.
• Integration experience with IDQ
• 2 years' experience on the Informatica MDM platform
• Informatica MDM strategist who brings (and can cite) best practices.
• Experience working in a SOX/GMP Validated environment a strong plus.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team dynamic across multiple functional organizations.
• Basic understanding of information technology and business concepts
• Ability to work and perform in a fun, agile and fast paced business environment.
