Job Highlights
- The Logistics Technician is responsible for packaging final product and preparing product for shipment. This includes inventory management, shipping and receiving functions as well as forklift operation for material movements.
- Conform to plant safety and environmental policies, accepting responsibility for personal safety
- Work in, and comply with, cGMP guidelines
- Package, prepare, and load product for shipments as needed based on demand
- Assess shipment needs against production volume and organize material inventory as needed working with shipping coordinator
- Load and unload product/packaging material through use of fork lift
- Apply proper package labeling and shipping documentation with regard to D.O.T. requirements
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment and communication with other employees using multiple methods of communication
- Participate on organization EH&S teams and initiatives to implement solutions and improvements
- Maintain a high degree of motivation by being flexible, displaying good leadership, and being able to prioritize and make informed decisions to meet business requirements
Requirements
- Must possess valid US driver's license
- High school diploma or GED required
