Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:

laquinta inn brooks city base is looking for a part-time Maintenance Technician to join their team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the on-site maintenance of hotel facilities . The ideal candidate will have a background in property maintenance with a strong background in hotel and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide regular on-site maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC repair, landscaping and painting as needed.

  • Work to ensure hotel facility in good standing.
  • Coordinate with the Property Manager on daily property operations.
  • Coordinate with the Community Manager on schedules for work crews.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all team members.
  • Keep updated and detailed records of work performed.
  • Must be proficient in using equipment described as part of the process.
  • Other job duties as assigned in hotel

Experience/Education:
·Associates degree in repair and maintenance or equivalent experience.
·3 years of hotel facility maintenance experience.
·HVAC certification preferred.
·On-Site management experience preferred.
· Able to perform basic statistical analysis.
·Strong customer service skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.15 - $27.58 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
