Assistant Automotive Controller/Office Manager - Large/National Automotive Group - Saint Charles, IL
A US top 50 privately held dealer group is offering a rare and exciting opportunity to join us as a key member of our Management team at the Saint Charles IL location. The Assistant Automotive Controller/Office Manager will assist in leading our centralized accounting team.
If you are an experienced and motivated Automotive Office Biller, Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist or Title Clerk looking to take the next step in your career we want to talk with you. This is a very rare opportunity within a large automotive group that could result in endless opportunities.
Job Responsibilities;
Assist in hiring, training and managing the accounting staff including Billing, Accounting, License and Title, Payroll
Review current and suggest improvement for compliance with internal controls, government regulations and manufacturer programs
Review financial statements and schedules, work with accounting staff to keep records accurate and current
Work with department managers to assist in running our business and maximizing profitability
Job Requirements;
Prior automotive dealership experience is required
Experience with dealership accounting systems
Proven experience leading an accounting team
Experience with manufacturer compliance and financial statement submission
Strong communication, leadership, training and organizational skills
