A person in this position conducts investigations on various matters at the direction of the District Attorney and provides staff assistance. Work is usually supervised while in progress and fits a structured and established pattern. Supplemental Information
You can’t be considered unless you apply! Underrepresented individuals may be less likely to apply for a job unless they believe they meet all requirements and can perform every job responsibility. We are most interested in finding the best candidate. We encourage you to think broadly about your background and skill set for the role and apply.
An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of required pre-employment testing. Depending on the position, these checks may include, but are not limited to, reference checks, motor vehicle reports, employment verification, education verification, fingerprinting, criminal history information, physical, and a drug screening. As marijuana is an illegal substance under federal law, testing positive for marijuana (medical or otherwise) or any other substance for which the county tests, will result in the contingent offer of employment being revoked. Successful completion of the drug screen is defined as obtaining a negative result.
A successful candidate must be able to complete physical testing based on the Essential Job Functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
All application components must be submitted by 11:59 PM MT on the closing date listed.
