(2) Full-time Drivers
Time: Day shift: 12 hours on weekdays and 8 hours weekend/holidays.
Detailed responsibilities:
- Transport lab specimens from one campus to another
- Transports patients
- Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles, including transfer from or to wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Assists staff with lift assists and repositioning of patients when needed.
- Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
- Maintains vehicle’s clean inside and out on regular basis, cleaning vehicle assigned with water and detergents when required.
- Responsible to be on-call during shift hours, reports back to Director as soon as route is completed.
- Must be familiar with Dade, Broward and WPB Counties.
- Be able to handle a wheelchair vehicle.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed.
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up to date on road conditions.
