Car Washer

Reports To: Service Manager

Summary: Will be responsible for the assignments handed down by the Service Manager and Service Advisors

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greets external and internal customers in a timely, professional, smiling and friendly manner. Listens actively, providing accurate information and advise.
2. Work with Service Advisors to get vehicles from write-up area to shop holding area. Ensure floor mats and seat covers are in place and tag number is placed.
3. Wash, vacuum, and whip down the dash of customer vehicle showing pride in work.
4. Bring washed vehicles to delivery area when requested by cashier.
5. Work with Service Manager on tasks to maintain shop cleanliness, to include windows, doors, floors and walls showing pride in the work place and customer satisfaction.
6. Transport customers to and from their home when need and requested by Service Manager.
7. Prioritizes and performs multiple tasks simultaneously in order to meet and exceed deadlines and expectations.
8. Communicates clearly both verbally and non-verbally. Submits concise, complete and clear legible records for both dealership and customer use.
9. Maintains assigned work area, break room, and dressing room in an organized and clean manner. Exhibiting pride in the work area and dealership.
10. Maintains personal cleanliness, grooming and uniform standards according to dealership guidelines.
11. Arrives at work, takes breaks, and departs work at scheduled times. Accrues overtime only with management authorization.
12. Displays high standard of ethical conduct. Refrains from unethical, dishonest and theft related behavior. Exhibits integrity, adhering to all company policies, including our commitment to ZERO TOLERANCE of discrimination and work place violence.
13. Aligns behavior with the needs, priorities and goals of the organization. Fosters commitment, pride, trust and team spirit.
14. Utilizes supplies and materials in a practical, economical manner. Handles all toxic chemicals and hazardous waste according to the dealerships current policies and procedures.
15. Reports to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers.
16. Communicates everyday, with direct supervisor if it is necessary to be late or absent.
17. Other job duties as required.

**Must have and maintain a current valid drivers license.

Educations and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Has the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Possess the ability to write simple correspondence. Has the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Has the ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Shows ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Salary : $30,400 - $38,400
