Job Description
The Business and Compliance Analyst an integral part of the team and plays an important role in conducting analysis, development, and implementation of new or improved business solutions. Responsibilities also include maintaining proper controls and compliance with SOX, as well as regular interface with internal and external audit teams including IT Operations and Infrastructure teams on all aspects of IT General Controls and documentation. We work collaboratively at LARSON and this starts with building strong relationships within the LARSON team. One way we foster this culture is through use of technology and process improvements with the coordination of resources with MIS and business units.

Job Description
The Business and Compliance Analyst an integral part of the team and plays an important role in conducting analysis, development, and implementation of new or improved business solutions. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Identify problems and opportunities for improvement with existing business units and develop short and/or long-term solutions in these areas.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors. Coordinate and supervise activities related to internal control documentation, review and analysis. Facilitate internal SOX audits.
- Produce new or updated process documentation, process flowcharts, and system application methodology. Prepare timeframe and cost estimates for completing projects.
- Direct, manage, train and mentor staff on the assigned areas of compliance. Ensure open audit findings are tracked and closed out on a timely fashion.
- Oversee implementation of necessary hardware/software/procedures, integrating the solution into other systems, and performing "live" tests. Oversee training of business units on proper use of application systems and process procedures.
- Monitor and document post-implementation concerns and revision requests, then develop and oversee corrective actions.
- Support ongoing operational solutions in order to meet the changing business needs. Support on-going system modifications and solutions, system upgrades, and new systems, where appropriate. Maintain or oversee maintenance of system documentation including process charts, test data and outcomes, and operator/user guides.
- Create, schedule, and manage teams and multifaceted tasks to meet project timelines and goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent management-approved experience in a professional area that would lend additional expertise to the position.
- 4 years of experience.
- Project/change management experience.
- Solid business knowledge and skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal (both business and technical).
- Solutions oriented: Drives to meet business objective included ROI.
- Analytical/problem solving skills: Ability to take incomplete business requirements and high level business needs/opportunities and convert into well-defined business processes.
- Understanding of integrated ERP/Supply Chain systems.
- Ability to work cohesively with, and direct diverse teams from multiple business units to achieve business goals.
The salary range for this position is: $54,600 - $85,800
