As the HR Manager you will partner with the leadership team to provide HR leadership and support; recruiting, onboarding, coaching and all facets of associate relations. This role aligns people strategy & talent management solutions with the business strategy. This role requires an experienced hands-on business partner who will provide effective coaching to leaders and associates across the organization. This is an exciting role with various opportunities to drive positive change.
YOUR ROLE:
- Ensure compliance with enterprise-wide Outdoors & Security policies and procedures, consistent with the company's values, business objectives, and PAR Guiding Principles.
- Accountable for creating, fostering, and effecting a positive associate relations (PAR) environment that drives loyalty, engagement, affiliation, and inclusion and ensures a safe and productive work environment.
- Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and HR development within the company.
- Work together with the site leadership teams to harmonize site-specific priorities aligned with overarching Outdoors & Security goals (e.g., diversity & inclusion, engagement, and talent management initiatives).
- Resolve conflict by thoroughly investigating and consistently applying our policies and procedures.
- Facilitate and coordinate focus groups, plant meetings, presentations, and communications for the facility.
- Deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume workload supporting HR functions and operations leadership.
- Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement proactive and innovative talent management solutions to deliver business results.
- Execute the O&S People strategy; acting as a champion, engaging stakeholders, challenging, and coaching managers to gain buy-in.
- Partner with leaders to understand key performance issues, objectives, and drivers and help build practical solutions and support the business.
- Create a pipeline of future leaders by cultivating an environment with challenging work, opportunities for exposure, and regular coaching and feedback.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business or related field
- 5 years of progressive HR experience including a minimum of 2-3 years as an HR business partner supporting business operations within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to build rapport, establish trust and credibility, and provide winning solutions across all levels of associates.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- PHR/SPHR certification is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, facilitation and coaching skills; engages and build effective relations across the organization
- Proven success in project management and leading change initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively as an HRBP; coach leaders and associates to help shape a performance-focused culture and positively influence others
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
