About the Role


This is a 100% remote, work from home position. We are looking for a tech-savvy digital nomad to help LARVOL’s culture and HR relationships grow in the company, with the focus on hiring and retaining the best resources.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Administers all human resource programs including, but not limited to, on and off boarding, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Implements a culture that promotes Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
  • Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
  • Facilitates professional development, training, rewards & recognition and activities for staff.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Desired Skills, Qualifications, Experience


  • BA or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8-10 years of related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and exemplary professionalism are required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.) as well as Zoom and database systems.
  • Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills. Exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well; effectively influences actions and opinions of others; accepts feedback from others; gives appropriate recognition to others.
  • Encourages open communications; confronts difficult situations; maintains objectivity; keeps emotions under control; uses negotiation skills to resolve conflicts.

  • Must have the ability to work some evenings, weekends
