Job Description
Looking to take your career in SAP to the next level from functional consultant to solution architect? LaSalle Network is partnering with a global manufacturing company in Memphis, TN to find a Material Management module expert.
This individual will work cross functionally between business units and developers to provide production support post implementation and architect new solutions within the purchasing and planning functions. Please note that this position is fully onsite in Memphis, TN and relocation assistance is available if needed.
SAP Solution Architect Responsibilities:
- Collect and document detailed requirements
- Analyze requirements and design solutions using SAP best practices
- Configure SAP Material Management (MM) modules and associated master data.
- Perform integration and system testing to ensure proper functioning of the solutions with the other modules
- Prepare test scripts
- Develop business process documentation and user training manuals
- Train the key users and end users
- Provide post go-live support to the users
- Prepare necessary documentation such as configuration, gap fit analysis, decisions taken
- Develop functional specifications for development objects and work with the development team to deploy completed solutions
- Support, facilitate, enhance and/or reengineer SAP modules
SAP Solution Architect Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, business administration, management information systems or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in SAP MM modules, and their implementation with associated interfaces
- Extensive experience in Planning (MRP/MPS) functionality in SAP
- Experience in leading and implementing large ERP (SAP) projects with the cross functional business and IT teams
- Extensive experience in designing and architecting solutions in the respective SAP functional areas
- Extensive work experience in implementing solutions related to regulatory and compliance processes and systems
