Shift: Overnight shift hours, 12am-6am, days could vary based on site needs.

Salary: $70,000 annually

Job Description:

We are seeking a full time Operations manager to assist in the Sort Center operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Specifically, the incumbent will ensure:

• Responsible for service elements that include reduction in mis-sorts and on departures to delivery facilities.
• Building an operation that is capable of exceeding KPI’s, increasing volume and producing a profit
• Sustaining LaserShip’s culture through actively developing people, delegating work, communicating fundamentals and monitoring performance as well as motivating, recognizing and rewarding individuals and teams

• Establishing professional relationships and channels of communication with Independent Contractors that promote and support the goals of the business
• Implementing standard processes and procedures

In addition to a robust skill set that includes the ability to work independently, problem solve and communicate effectively, the ideal candidate will possess:

• 2 years management experience, preferably in a logistics/3PL environment
• Ability to lead others.

• Effective at meeting deadlines.
• Experience with hiring, training, motivating, disciplining and completing performance evaluations for employees.
• Strong computer skills, with emphasis on MS Office.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
• BA/BS in business or related discipline.

Strong Distribution Background is a plus.
