What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant/Office Manager position at Lashier Law, PLLC?
Our small law firm focuses on family law and criminal defense. We are seeking a legal assistant/ office manager for an in-person position. The position will include answering phone calls and emails, greeting clients for meetings, sorting/ organizing mail, data entry, drafting documents, E-Filing, and basic office tasks. We are seeking someone who is willing to work 3-5 days per week from approximately 8:30am-4:30pm. Days and times can be adjusted for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- -Must be professional, empathetic, and kind to client's going through tramatic circumstances, sometimes in emergency situations.
- -Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- -Attention to detail is a must.
- -Ability to work with and troubleshoot technology. Must be proficient in using Apple/MAC products, and flexible to changing systems and processes.
- Profficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe.
Preferred Skills:
- -Previous legal expirience.
- -Interest in maintaining social media accounts for the firm/ advertising.
- -Associates or Bachelor's Degree.
- Previous expirience with CLIO case management.
- Previous expirience working in the Macomb County legal field.
