Outside Sales Representative

• Compensation is a combination of salary and commission, a sales representative with good performance can expect to make $90,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Achieve targeted and agreed-upon sales goals (sales volume and gross margin) to get new and repeat clients in ways that generate the income needed for a healthy department and company.
• Successfully monitor agreed-upon sales activity goals and manage/prioritize work to achieve progress toward yearly, monthly, weekly and daily sales goals against key performance indicators.
• Actively seek, identify and obtain new prospects in ways that lead to increased sales. 
• Support the marketing of products, preparing for shows, positioning and advertising activities in coordination with the general manager and/or sales manager.
• Proactively support and work with other employees and departments to give the customer a seamless experience in ways that promote teamwork.
• Share, mentor, encourage and acknowledge other salespeople and departments in meeting the needs of all stakeholder groups.
• Continually improve personal selling capabilities in order to respond to customer needs in a more effective manner.
• Develop and maintain a high level of product, market and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience preferred

• Hardworking, high energy, eager to improve personality

• Self-motivation and high level of integrity mandatory

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment

• Outgoing and friendly demeanor, especially while handling objections and negotiating pricing
