POSITION SUMMARY
The Network Administrator will be responsible for all corporate Business Systems via business software application development and provide integration between business and industrial systems. The Network Administrator will work with other IT members, vendors and end users to obtain requirements in order to administer and design new Networks LAN and WAN. The position will also require VMWare of the LPC server farm and administration of applications such as backup software, network monitoring, intrusion detection, web filtering and email security.
The role requires complete comprehension of local and wide area networks and their protocols, complete comprehension of Storage Area Networks and their protocols, and knowledge of VMWare 6.0 and above.
The Network Administrator reports to the IT Operations Director and is based out of our Cherry Hill location.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Configure and deploy Cisco Routers
- Configure and deploy Palo Alto Firewalls
- Administer Network via Network Management Tools
- Administer VMWare Server Farm and the Related Hosts
- Support and troubleshoot data issues
- Administer and Support Security Applications for Web filtering, Email Filtering, Intrusion Detection etc.
- Performance tuning, monitoring and scheduling tasks
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
- Assist in day-to-day help desk related support and communications
- Assist in security assignments
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business, IT or related field with five plus (5 ) years of IT experience and three plus (3 ) years Network Administration Experience.
- CCNA certification is required
- Experience with Linux
- Ability to work under tight project deadlines
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be detailed oriented and can multi-task
- Must have excellent time management skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle, ability to travel by airplane, and occasionally working in the field.
FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.
OCCASIONAL: squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing 20 – 35 lbs. from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.
