About the Role
The Attorney Support FAST Assistant is an integral part of Latham’s Attorney Support team and will be responsible for supporting summer associates and first through fourth-year attorneys with a variety of administrative responsibilities, while working in a global team environment with a real-time work ticketing system (ServiceNow). This role will be located in our Washington D.C. office. Working hours for this position will be Monday - Friday 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm ET. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Daily time entry, expense reimbursement, calendaring and scheduling, managing/editing documents, and travel arrangements
- Proactively learning internal systems and processes to find innovative solutions to problems and requests
- Preserving the confidentiality of ours and our clients’ protected information
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Display professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, and staff throughout the firm
- Demonstrate the ability to take initiative to work both independently and in a team environment with a customer service focus
- Possess the ability to multi-task and adapt to continuously evolving technology platforms
And have:
- A Bachelor's degree and/or prior professional experience in a legal or professional services environment
