JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the purchasing of raw materials, parts, supplies and equipment, and office supplies
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtains the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase cost.
- Develops and ensures all elements of the purchase commitment are completed with proper required approvals.
- Reviews requisition for accuracy and completeness, and prepares and processes assigned purchase order.
- Monitors, reorders, and purchases items needed for inventory replenishment.
- Creates and reconciles reports to ensure accuracy of payables.
- Coordinates with vendors in accuracy on availability, price, and delivery of items.
- Expedites the delivery of purchases as necessary to achieve production and customer demands.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years procurement experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with an MRP system.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
