Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager with a minimum of 5 years of Federal Proposal Management experience, ideally with a focus on Department of Defense (DOD) contracts. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading the development and submission of compelling and compliant proposals to secure government contracts. The Proposal Manager will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and objectives. This position is onsite 2-3 days , remote 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Proposal Leadership: Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial concept to submission, ensuring compliance with all client requirements and deadlines.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts, technical teams, and other stakeholders to gather information and input required for proposal development.
- Content Development: Develop and edit proposal content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Compliance Management: Ensure proposals adhere to all client guidelines, regulations, and compliance standards, with a specific focus on DOD requirements.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and address potential risks and challenges in proposals, working proactively to develop mitigation strategies.
- Resource Management: Coordinate and manage proposal resources, including writers, editors, and graphic designers, to ensure timely and quality submissions.
- Proposal Reviews: Facilitate proposal reviews and feedback sessions, incorporating feedback to enhance the overall quality and competitiveness of proposals.
- Knowledge Management: Maintain a repository of proposal content, templates, and best practices for future reference and continuous improvement.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with business development and client-facing teams to understand client needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
