LATN is currently seeking freelance **ONSITE ** Spanish interpreters with at least one year of interpreting experience.

THIS IS NOT A FULL-TIME POSITION-This is a freelance position with assignments available within flexible business hours, Monday through Friday.

Duties:

  • Provide interpreting services as an independent contractor in medical and social services structures.
  • Comply with the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC) Code of Ethics and HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform duties in a professional manner.
  • Turn in client worksheets and invoice within 24 hours of appointment

Qualifications:

  • Must demonstrate fluency in English and a 2nd language.
  • Must have flexibility to accept assignments during weekdays and business hours.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Awareness of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
  • Able to comply with credentialing requirements for independent contractors working in healthcare facilities.
  • Able to pass language proficiency and Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice test
  • Must be punctual and responsible.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday
