What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator/Project Manager position at LATONA TRUCKING INC?
Latona Trucking Inc. is seeking a qualified reliable individual for full time positions as Project Manager/Estimator . This Position involves the management of heavy highway construction projects(dirt, pipe, concrete) and will require the applicant to manage project budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Primary communicator with project owners and/or engineers.
- Attend pre-bid meetings with the owner, vendors and subcontractors.
- Develop a complete and accurate bid proposal including: quantity take-off, crew composition, and material and subcontractor pricing.
- Develop budgets and negotiate subcontractor agreements and purchase orders.
- Outline and communicate specifications for superintendents and foremen.
- Negotiate, secure and manage subcontracts.
- Prepare and maintain the project progress and budget.
- Develop and maintain project schedule.
- Experience with Penn Dot work
- Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in heavy/highway construction project management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook , Agtek and HCSS.
- The ability to work with a team to complete projects within stated deadlines.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
