Summary

Laugh & Learn Childcare Center is looking for a part time person or substitute for our childcare center. Hours will vary, but be around 10-20 hours a week.This position could turn full time for anyone that is interested in furthering their education to be qualified as a lead teacher. Must have atleast 1 year of experience working with children grade 3 and younger. and one of the following:

  1. Vermont Ladder one or two certificate
  2. CDA
  3. Human Services Program Certificate
  4. Completion of Fundamentals Course
  5. completed a 3 credit college class on Human Development or School Age Care in Education

Duties

Caring for children age 6 weeks to 12 years.

cleaning

keeping up on ratios

preparing snacks

potty training/ diaper changes


Requirements

must be flexible for hours

open to working with different age groups when needed

pass a background check

complete CPR and First Aid

Good work ethic

communication skills

Team Player
